The Chicago Intellectual Property Alliance organizes several mentoring activities in order to provide access to IP practitioners for students. Law students interested in practicing in one of the IP areas are currently the focus of these activities. CIPA is planning an expansion of this program to include STEM undergraduate students as well as students in the arts. For information related to activities with students at the high school level, please see the Science Fair activities page.
One of the formal mentoring activities CIPA sponsors is a “Speed Mentoring Evening”. If you are interested in participating in this event, please use the appropriate form for Mentors or Law Students.
Beginning in 2016, CIPA partnered with IPLAC to conduct a speed mentoring event. Logistics for that event are provided by IPLAC. Future dates will be posted here.
